Wow. Just wow.
Do you know that feeling when you can't put down the book? When you are totally wrapped up in a story? When you feel so much with the characters that it almost hurts? When you don't want to finish the book because you don't want to leave but you also have to know the end?
It's been a while since I felt like this but here we are. The Engelsfors Trilogy.
After book one and two my expectations for the third book have been high - I fell in love with those girls very early on and got caught with them in their problems they have to face in their personal life and with themselves and the weight that sits on their shoulders because of their fate. I was often touched by the raw honesty of the struggle of the girls. And the third book didn't disappoint me, on the contrary, it managed to surprise me, set me on the edge, break my heart and leave my in tears many times.
What I love the most in those books how it takes time to develop the relationships between the girls from the beginning till the very end. And I've never read a more honest love story between two girls, which touched me deeply. I wish we could get more like that.
I'm so glad I found these books. The world, the characters and the plot - it all comes to an worthy end in this third book. And I'm sad to let it go. I know already that this trilogy will have a special place in my heart forever.
