The outset is remarkably interesting in that the main character is referred to as “you” and at times this gets inside your, that is the readers, skin and questions arise as to what you would have done yourself in a certain situation. Especially as the main character isn’t what you would call a “nice and whole hearted person”, rather a complex one.
So, in theory and at places this is a provocative and smart undertaking, though there are too much neo-realism in between for this to be interesting in a broader scale. I find it too thin as a whole.
