A deliciously weird tale. It's bizarre but also heartfelt. We follow this young woman, whose body is not complitely hers, slipping through life with deppresion, not truly living. Suddenly going through changes that should've made everything worse... but they sort of made it better. And the complicated love story that blooms between her and the woman who works for the guys that are the reason her life is so bad in the first place.

The story has the interesting aestethic and worldbuilding for which we learn bits and pieces but enough to paint the not-so-pretty picture. I chuckled through the first half of the book, thinking it will be all fun and games, but I was wrong. Sadness awaited. For the book that has such a ridiculous premise it gets serious and depressive, but that also fits. A lot. Especially with the evil corporation and dystopian setting, that aren't so far away from our own world. The author managed to struck a balance between jokes and fun weirdness with a serious contemplations on ethics, science, and feelings of hopelessness of living in a corporate world you can't change.

I also saw people comparing it to Venom and yep, I definitely agree there. Only this book goes where Venom, as a movie from a big corp, will never dare.
