This was a fun time. I was literally just talking about how I wanted to read more romances with middle aged characters or adult characters with Adult Problems and this book definitely itched that scratch. I think the pacing of the book is a little… interesting at times. I found that the narrative dwells on the areas of conflict for too long, and then rushes you through the solutions, and if the author paid better attention to balancing all that out I think the ending would’ve felt a lot more satisfying than what it was. Still, this was a cute romcom moment.
