Searching for Sylvie Lee by Jean Kwok
4.0
I respect and understand the authors motivation to write the story. I enjoyed the reflection of immigration in the voices of the characters, though there were some inconsistencies. This was a book club read and in a period with a drought of good discussion reads so it’s a welcome reprieve.
I found Amy’s growth semi believable, but it fit with the story.
