This was my 11th book finished in 2025.

It was okay, but at the end of the day, most ghost stories are kind of the same... So it felt quite repetitive after a few chapters.

As with other "new" HH books, there's a lot of filler - large headings and lame faux adverts that are used as filler.

I liked the small section that addressed slavery - very modern.
