Winter Roses after Fall by r.h. Sin, Robert M. Drake
4.0
Drake’s contributions outshine those from Sin, but ultimately I enjoyed the overall product. If it wasn’t for the fact that so many of them were relevant to my current relationship with a “friend,” Sin’s long drawls would’ve been completely unbearable - but right book, right time.
It was pretty ironic how much of my wife and my best friend I found in Drake’s writing - often sending pictures of pages to one or reading portions out loud for it to lay in the air between us and let it embrace us while we smiled.
In the same sentiment, Sin’s fit perfectly for the snake betrayal of someone I considered a friend and also what I felt before finding my wife and the things I told myself to get through the day, through another heartache, through another disappointment. Two very different extremes of people channeled within those pages, but cathartic and self-reflective.
