At Sweet Mercy, the convent Nona, Ara, Clear, Hessa, Jula Darla, Ruli, Zole and their classmates are being raised to be KILLERS!
Some because of inherited blood lines they have been given special talents. Red Sisters train for 10 years.
But when Nona Grey shows up, having been purchased at the age of EIGHT!!!, The Mistress of Sword & Shadow is at at loss because at the ripe ole age of 8, Nona has already been CHARGED with Murder....
So has young as she is and despite the isolation and security of having the Red, Grey and Holy Nuns at Sweet Mercy, Nona is going have to be a deadly assassin if she's going to make it.

I really enjoyed this, actually loved it, I loved the relationship between Hessa & Nona although sad. And I love watching the relationship between Ara & Nona and can't wait to see where it goes.
I feel that the pacing for me was pretty good and I have enjoyed watching the character development.
