Second Star to the Right by Deborah Hautzig

Beautiful and moving and such a true portrait of chronically illness and the hardships people that have the illness as well as the people around them go through.

It's not a book everyone will love. Because it is not a book most people will be able to connect to in a deep and "I have been there, I know exactly what you are going through" way, but I really think that everyone should read this book and try to understand that everyone around us has a hard time sometimes, even if it seems as if their life is perfect. Does that mean that someone else doesn't have it worse? No, but does that mean that just because there's some that has it worse, that it doesn't matter how you feel? This book points out just how extreme it can become if you feel as if you have to do something, anything, to prove that you can do something for yourself.

Read this book, guys. And try to understand how hard life can be for someone that can't control what is going on with and in their own body. And go away from this book u derstanding what a true gift you have if you are health.
