Keeping Him Safe by Kaye Davis
5.0
An emotional ride
This book is more than just a romance or sex, this is about love and all the ups and downs and emotions that go with it. It's about knowing who you are in the face of adversity and family.
Romances with sex are not normally my thing as I worry it will be all about the sex and none of the emotions. This is not the case. Yes there is sex in the story, well written and not out of context sex for the sake of writing a sex scene, but there is emotion and reason and feeling behind it. This is a complete story. The character Jace is dealing with a person who has attempted to kill him because he's gay. He's dealing with how to handle being publically outed without actually coming out. In the midst of all this thrown into a new living situation and scared for his life wondering when and if the person trying to kill him will try again.
I reccomend this for anyone who likes a romance with heart and a story that will keep you on edge.
