While this book can be read as a standalone, I don’t really recommend it. I didn’t read the first book and while the author does a decent job of explaining where we are in this couple’s journey, I was left wanting more in development. This book shouldn’t have been written as a standalone and instead as a true sequel to the first book.

With that being said, I thought it was cute. I enjoyed the mystery aspect of the story with the stalker, as well as the way our couples had to deal with their own struggles in their individual journeys.

My favorite storyline was Jenny’s. Im a big fan of GrumpyxSunshine and thought that they had the best chemistry between the couples. It doesn’t hurt that they are the only couple physically together throughout the book as our Main Girl, Gwen, is halfway across the country. Unfortunatley I felt no love for her fiancee as he came across as childish throughout the book, making me have no desire to go back and read book one.
