the last Heinlein book I read sucked, but I thought I'd give him another chance with a book in a different genre from a different decade. this one doesn't suck, but it is very very boring. it has that YA writing style that hurts your teeth, along with remains of that style that was popular in like, colonial books for boys around the turn of the last century. if you know, you know. in summary: off-putting and dull.
