Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

5.0

I gave this book a 4.25 out of 5 stars.

This book is a about a group of 6 outcasts who are hired to pull off the biggest and most dangerous heist.

I loved how all the characters were a bunch of different things. They all had different personalities and different dynamics with one another. I loved the group as a whole too.

I loved how the romance played out in this book. It wasn’t blatant and forced down our throats. I thought it was well developed and was not conclusive. It also played well into suspense for the sequel of this book, which I’m going to have to read now because I need to know what happens.

However, the beginning was very slow to me and it took about quarter through to get me fully engaged. And some of the middle parts were eeh as well.

Overall, I liked the story and the characters even more. I hope to read the sequel and see what happens to our group of misfits!
