Unplugged by Steve Antony

I LOVED THIS BOOK.

Blip, an adorably drawn robot loves being plugged in. Online she can have fun learning new things, going on adventures, dancing to music, and visiting faraway places. She's plugged in every day all day, and would continue just the same until one day there's a blackout and Blip trips over her own chord, and tumbles all the way out the door, finding herself outside! Once outside, little Blip learns that there are other ways to learn new things, go on adventures, and all of the other things she usually does, and that she just may love BOTH.

I thought this was an adorable and sweet little book that gave a gentle look at what it means to put down our screens and enjoy the outdoors. Blip's adventure into the real world isn't told in a preachy way, but rather allows even the youngest readers to discover with her. This is a great storytime read or bedtime story, and even a cute gift book for an adult.
