Enjoyed this more than I expected. I didn’t expect to have as much emotional investment in the characters since this is just an alternate version of the regular DC universe, but the deaths mattered.

The way characters die also makes sense. You don’t see these well-known characters doing things they wouldn’t normally do.

The thing that pleases me most in this story is that it does end with hope.
