A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas
5.0
4.5 STARS ROUNDED UP!
What? Why? HOW? How had I not read this series earlier? I had been told that ACOTAR was good and ACOMAF was so much better, but I definitely underestimated the incredible journey that I would be taking while reading this book. I can now say with absolute certainty that my life will now be consumed by the Maasverse.
Maas's characters are all so well-written and it is so easy to fall in love (or hate) with each character as Feyre does. The betrayal in ACOMAF is everywhere, tucked in pockets of the story that left me raging and in an unsurprised stupor. The love and compassion were overflowing at some points and suffocating and demanding at others. And the found family trope sends my poor heart into a lovely tizzy every time.
