Maus: A Survivor's Tale. I, My Father Bleeds History by Art Spiegelman

I don't even know what to say about this one. I read this in two sittings. I could have read it in one, but I had things to do in real life. I hate it when that happens! Anyway, this book is amazing. I found the artistry really interesting, the story gripping, and I especially loved the dynamics between the father and son as the story is being told. I knew sort of what the book was about going into it, but I wasn't expecting that aspect at all. I had thought it was just the son telling the father's story of his time in Auschwitz, but it also has a dual timeline with the goings on in their present lives as the father is telling the story. I thought that relationship really gave the book an added layer and made it that much better!
