The Man Commandments: A book on etiquette, grooming, responsibility and relationships by Siekiem Kontom

5.0

A great book for young boys or boys who think they are men. So many great nuggets of information that can be the impetus for the much needed discussion about the Black man and what he is...and is not.

This book exposes how the media has erroneously defined the Black man by systematically chipping away at the Black man's image in a nefarious attempt to destroy him. Why? Because society knows if you destroy the Black man, you destroy the Black family.

This book should be discussed in barber shops, at community centers, between fathers and sons--and daughters, in prisons, in middle school and high school classrooms, in college classrooms, in libraries, on street corners, and anyplace where young Black men congregate.

A quick read but the discussions and life lessons that will result from it will be anything but brief.
