I am glad that I picked this up and continued with the series. This is a novella that is set between the first and second book in the Transplanted Tales. This is Nate's story. His past comes back to bite him and he has to risk it all to confront it. I like Nate and Tess, and I like them as a couple. It was nice to get to see them get their HEA, especially since they didn't really have one with the way the first book ended 

There's not much I can say, since the book is so short. And while I haven't yet picked up The Better to See You, I am confident that this is a nice bridge between the two books. If you like urban fantasy, fairytale retellings with bite, then I'd recommend checking this out.
