Confessions of the Fox by Jordy Rosenberg
3.5
my biggest complaint is that the audiobook did not differentiate the story within the story and the footnotes/meta-narrative well, which made for a confusing listening experience. the ending was also not as tight as i wanted.
but as a first novel i thought this was very strong! as someone with a humanities PhD, i LOVED the academic elements and name-dropping. while this particular didn't rock me, i will definitely pick up Rosenberg's subsequent books.
