Unravel the Dusk by Elizabeth Lim

4.0

"...I will never leave you. I will stay by your side until the fire in the sun grows cold and the light in the moon is no more. Until time blots out the stars."

I will be adding these to my vows if I ever get married.

I enjoyed this far more than the 1st book. It had more thrill and action for me. More heartbreaking moments and a digging deep into what actually matters.

While in the middle of reading this, I noticed how most of the chapters ended with her being "it does not matter, it's too late for me. I'll be a demon soon enough." It got old too quickly and I sighed when it finally wasn't the case for a chapter.

I understood her troubles with her deal and all that but she just went rogue from all sides. For the better though, otherwise - we never would have seen her character grow.

I'm just glad there were no blanking moment in this book. Like long self-reflection and all that. It just kept moving.

Edan is such a sweetheart. Our hero and heroine simply took my heart and is being cherished forever. ♡
