Let's just start off by saying [b:Turtles All the Way Down|35504431|Turtles All the Way Down|John Green|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1503002776s/35504431.jpg|21576687] does not follow the John Green formula. Shocking right?!? And I honestly liked it a lot. I know there are mixed reviews about it being different, but I enjoyed the difference. I've read a few other John green books, and I get frustrated by the repetitiveness. But this book, on the other hand, was like completely original. The main character Aza was very relatable. Even though I don't suffer from OCD, I can relate to the anxiety part. Some points were even so true that it startled me. Did John Green Just read our minds??? I really liked how honest [b:Turtles All the Way Down|35504431|Turtles All the Way Down|John Green|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1503002776s/35504431.jpg|21576687] portrayed Aza.
So part of the plot was supposed to be a mystery, but in reality, it was more about Aza. When I finished the book I kind of felt like it didn't get anywhere. We were stuck in Aza's mind the whole time, which made it very interesting. I really enjoyed this portrayal of OCD/Anxiety.
Overall, I think [b:Turtles All the Way Down|35504431|Turtles All the Way Down|John Green|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1503002776s/35504431.jpg|21576687] is my second favorite John Green book. Close to TFIOS. I really think John Green benefited from changing his idea up. It was very refreshing to have something new by him!
