I'm very happy that I've read this book . I love it when I read a book I was dying to read . It feels like an achievement.

Now ,to be completely honest , this book is not great . It's good and that's all . To me , it's more of a thriller mystery than it is a horror novel . Sometimes it's even funny . I had a hard time picturing the content of the tape. However , the premise is really good .
At first , I had an issue with one of the main characters because of something he claims to have done, and I was about to DNF the book . But then I wanted to give the author the chance to explain to me why he made the choice of writing about such character . At the end , I was able to see the writer's point and I liked how he kinda kept things vague .

I will probably pick up the second book which I know nothing about and see if it's better .

Overall , an enjoyable read .
