This was such a quick and easy read. Set in dystopian America where slavery is legal, where Louise and “her boy” fight their instant attraction knowing even a touch could mean death to them both. This had me in my feelings angry one moment and heartbroken the next. This ends on a cliffhanger and I will definitely be picking up the next one!
