 I'm impressed with the paneling in this volume and how well it conveys the emotions of the characters, both big and small. starting with the anime had me worried the manga would fall short visually, but it has its own style that lends itself well to the story being told. even though I knew how this arc would play out, it didn't make it hurt any less.
