Oh my gosh this was the perfect read for a gloomy winter: another collection of Samantha Irby's always smart, often gross, and usually very funny essays about topics from growing up poor to "lesbian bed death." There were a couple of pieces that didn't grab me and I ended up skimming through, but also a couple that left me snorting with laughter, like the essay "Body Negativity" on beauty products and routines women are supposed to follow.
