Jennifer Moffatt's first book in this series, A Hard Sell was already a wonderful read, the second one - this one - knocks everything out of the park. It is absolutely amazing.

I love Finn and Rory, they are such an amazing and cute - quite neurodivergent coded -couple. And their story is just... *chefskiss*

A story so wonderful I did not want it to end - ever. It was so good.

It's fantastic, brilliant, cosy, cute, romantic, just ... perfect. The cosy gay comfort read you did not know you need in your life. 10 out of 5⭐. No notes.

Needless to say I cannot wait until book 3 comes out... I need more! More! M.O.R.E.

For the spice concerned readers I want to add: it's a little bit spicy but it's fade to black-ish spice, some stuff is hinted at or described at the beginning before it fades to behind closed curtains, but it never gets overly explicit. Just in case that's a concern for you.

I rarely rave about a book, but oh boy have I been raving about this one! It's all over my social media, in case you want to double-check.

I also rarely re-read books, but I am 500% certain I will be re-reading this one - the next time I need a comfort read that is absolutely perfect for a day, locked away from the world, with a cosy blanket, tons of tea & biscuits, and lots of chocolate (some of it may or may not be hot).

But it! Read it! It is absolutely fantastic!
