A 25-page short story, which in my opinion, could have worked better as a longer story.
The concept was interesting, and I think it had potential, but the shortness was, unfortunately, the story’s downfall.
I would have loved to learn more about the planet where Max was reborn. The planet and the life there sounded interesting.
The twist towards the end was something I didn’t see coming. The ending left me with a lot of questions.
Overall, it was an interesting and emotional read. I just wish it could have been longer, allowing more time for world-building, character building, and character development.
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.
