Overall, the book was nice. A break in my typical genres and writing styles that I prefer. I overall just feel like something was always missing — an explanation, a connection, a conversation, more adventure, SOMETHING that made the story flow better and make me care about the characters and their decisions on how they acted the whole way through 😅. 

It was fun, but I do think it could’ve been better. I definitely didn’t like the “male gaze” approach to their relationship. I actually found it demeaning, forced, and stereotypical 🙃.
