I'd been eagerly awaiting Easton and Knox's story since we were teased with it in Bromantic Puckboy, however unfortunately the book didn't live up to my expectations.
While the premise of the book sounded good, I spent most of the time going back and forth between liking the characters and then really disliking them. There was so much miscommunication it made my head hurt and Connor (Easton's brother) was such a big part of the story that it almost felt like there were three MCs instead of two.
Whilst I enjoyed the pining and longing that we got, it felt like we missed a lot of the build up of the MCs feelings and were just told that the feelings were there instead. The connection between Easton and Knox just didn't feel real to me and I really felt like I was missing the romance in this book.
That being said I really enjoyed all of the cameos from the CU, Puckboys and Fake Boyfriend Universe! I loved seeing so many of my favourite characters again and wish we had even more of that in this book.
Though this wasn't my favourite book of the series, I know a lot of other people have enjoyed it so I would still recommend giving it a go if you like the previous books in the series, the cameos alone make it worth it.
Overall: ⭐⭐⭐.5
