You have a dreadful sense of humour to which I've somehow become habituated. You care about people so effortlessly it makes me able to put up with them. And then you kissed me and now I..." Samwise is a wisecracking scouse who runs a Bed and Baths store. On a visit to his boss Jonathan Forrest - a steely-eyed shithead cosplaying as a Tory - he not only ends up being fired but also crushed by a bazillion glass plates that leave him with a concussion… and an idea to save his store from being closed. Let the cutesy enemies to lovers amnesia plot line commence.

It does what it says on the tin. It’s cute, gay, full of tropes and perfectly Christmassy for the holiday season. It’s not that grand but I’ve given it the fifth star for the amazing narrator over at BookBeat. Yay Christmas gays.
