The Cult Crushers by Carl H. Yaeger
1.0
This may be the most hateful book ever written. Both the good guys and the bad guys are sadistic, homophobic, misogynistic, white-supremacist fascists and there is no discernible difference between them except that the bad guys are less capable of carrying out their agenda.
And aside from that the book is just terribly written: there are way too many characters and they're all written identically so it's impossible to remember any of them or tell them apart; the book is full of bizarre turns of phrase and misused words; the action is impossible to follow due to the lack of a coherent plot and the way the good guys just keep fortuitously pre-empting everything the bad guys do; the author just doesn't seem to understand anything.
To enjoy this book you would have to be an American white-supremacist who hates Nazis (because the bad guys are Nazis) and also has absolutely no taste or discernment when it comes to actual writing ability. This book has no redeeming qualities at all.
