While this character was meant to by my age, also recently married, in that point in life when either everyone you know is getting married or having children, it didn't endear me to her. I didn't enjoy reading about her story and it made me sad. It was definitely an important story to tell, that there is life after love, after divorce and how messy communication is in the early 2020s. She went on a true heroine's journey, almost alienated all of her friends with how unbearable she was being, went to therapy and ended up in a better place by the end. I would only give this book to my most hopeless of friends.
