The Year of the Witching by Alexis Henderson

3.0

Books with heavy religious themes are never my favorite. Also, I wanted more witchiness and less brainwashed / more vengeance in our protagonist. I loved the two (2) witchy scenes we got and the lush descriptions of the Witches and the Dark Wood. But it wasn't enough to get me past yet another religious cult where people are surprised that the white man in charge is bad.
