The Divine Comedy of Dante Alighieri: V20 Harvard Classics by Dante Alighieri

3.0

Obviously a monumental work of its time, and fascinating as a compendium medieval religious and scientific thought, but I was surprised how much of it was essentially: "Okay, now let's see what this Florentine aristocrat did to end up in hell."

A challenging reading experience at times, but once you get into the groove of the sentence structures, it's not so bad.
