A retelling of the Arthurian legend, centered on the Lady of the Lake, Nimue and the legendary sword, Excalibur.

This was one of the books I thought I was gonna enjoy, because it's fantasy, has a promising plot, and it's being turned into a Netflix series, but I ended up being disappointed.

It was frustrating to read. The first few chapters were confusing and I find it hard to connect with the world and the main characters. I don't think the book version was executed well compared to the tv show.

Then there's Nimue—supposed to be the leader as the sword chose her—but made crappy decisions and was generally annoying. Merlin was meh.

I recommend you watch the tv show instead, since they're exactly the same.
