The Lost Future of Pepperharrow by Natasha Pulley
5.0
4.5/5 but I'm giving it 5 stars here to balance out the 4 I gave for the first Watchmaker novel by Pulley.
It was easier to understand this time and to get into the swing of things because I could still remember some of the theory from the first book. It's a very intricate sort of plot and again, you can't read this book while thinking of something else. The fact that it all makes sense in the end though, that's what I can really appreciate. Very clever writing, with a lot of historical and linguistic research weaved into it. I did miss Katsu's presence in the story though. More Katsu please.
