The cover doesn't do any justice to Bauman's discussion on modern bonds and societies. Only the first part is about «romantic» love, the rest is an essay on how the lack of constancy shapes our world (politics, human relationships, economics, etc) into a «liquid» and fluid one. Worth reading of you enjoy sociological essays.
