I was prepared to go into this review to warn the reader that Fool Me Once was a slow burn and it wasn’t nearly as spicy as other Hannah Gray books. I’m here to report that the spice ramps up something serious in the last 3rd of the book and you will NOT be disappointed.

This book is so well done. I will never not recommend a Hannah Gray read. Her books are just unmatched when it comes to sports romance. Be sure to check those trigger warnings before starting this book as it deals largely with domestic violence. That being said, I don’t know of two better fictional characters to handle it.

I don’t know how she does it. Hannah does the most amazing job at setting up the next book in the series without taking away from the current couple or jumping the plot. I can’t believe this is the 3rd book in the New England Bay Sharks series. Like seriously, this is her best series yet. I never want it to end and the next book?! The Next book is gonna be sooo good I can’t wait.
