90’s Love in Cali was an incredible novella packed with drama, vibes, and a perfect mix of spice and plot—all within just 102 pages. Masterpiece delivered a story that immerses you in the ’90s, from the music and slang to the fashion and hairstyles, nailing the vibe of the era flawlessly.

The FMC, Alizé, was a standout character for me. She’s fiercely loyal, a hustler, and a talented stripper who’s dealt a heartbreaking betrayal by both her longtime boyfriend and best friend. But after getting her lick back, Alizé embarks on a journey of growth and healing. Along the way, she meets Cook, a fine, charming plug who treats her like the princess she is. Their connection felt real, and I loved watching Alizé flourish as she moved forward from her past.

This novella was a love letter to the ’90s, brimming with nostalgia and authenticity. Masterpiece managed to pack so much into a short, fast-paced story, and I’m already excited to see what comes next.

If you love drama-filled novellas with fierce heroines and strong vibes, 90’s Love in Cali is a must-read.
