I listened to the audio while following along in a physical copy ...

Although I loved the magical aspect of this book, and it was so easy to read, I just could not get past the turn it took.

I do have to remind myself that this is YA, but I am thinking from a younger person reading this and being just as confused as I was. Maybe not 🤷🏽‍♀️

I did enjoy it for what it was though.
