The Woman in Black by Susan Hill

3.0

I'm in between 3 and 4 stars with this one. It's a short book, which asks for your own interpretation and leaves a lot of questions. Definitely a story that would've worked great if it were double or triple the pages, as I feel that the story could be extra scary with more background and certain parts stretched more. Though the author kept it short and concise, which makes it more like hearing a ghost story that's been passed down ages ago, focusing only on the main information. I didn't mind the shortness, though absolutely longed for more.
