Do... do I have a new favorite book? I might have a new favorite book. I definitely have a new favorite children's book at the very least.

The audio version of this book is exceptional and narrated with such heart and so many creative choices that not only suited the entire vibe of the book but served to enhance it quite a bit.

The novel has, hands down, the most beautifully profound writing I personally have ever experienced in a middle-grade book. Every sentence is crafted and delivered with such intention. From the first line to last, if I wasn't smiling or laughing, I was crying or gasping. There was so much emotion wrapped up in this little book, my heart still feels like it literally might burst. Just wow.
