I loved this book! Sometime sequels get middle book syndrome, but this one did not fall flat at all. I absolutely adored Grey and Lia Mara and I loved that this book was from their points of view. I thought exploring more of Emberfall was really interesting and I liked seeing more of this world. I couldn't stop reading and I thought the character development was immaculate. I also thought all of the new characters introduced in this installment fit perfectly into the story. Tycho is a gem and he deserves to be protected at all costs. While I loved Harper, something about Lia Mara really tied the story together. I should have see the twist at the end coming but I didn't and wow! What a cliffhanger. I really loved these characters and the world overall, so I'm super excited to see how it all ends!
