The List by Yomi Adegoke

Did not finish book. Stopped at 41%.
The writing style wasn't for me, and I couldn't connect with the main premise of the book - that Ola and Michael were put in an impossible position when The List "dropped".

I spent 159 pages waiting for Michael to show an iota of critical reflection and accountability for his self-proclaimed poor behaviour and for Ola to stop lying to herself. I don't even know why Ola wants to be with Michael, other than his sense of humour (which we never see) and his almond eyes.

From what I've read and spoilers I've seen, the book verges on advocating that we dismiss "baseless" allegations which doesn't sit well with me, but really I'm just not buying the story itself. I'm so disconnected from it that this one is a DNF
