I didn't love it. Didn't hate it... it was... meh. The writing was good.
We follow Theo who is a psychologist and working with a woman, Alicia, who allegedly killed her husband. The story goes back and forth between her journal entries and Theo's perspective attempting to treat her in the hospital.
The plot was interesting. The epic twist everyone raves about felt very forced. I wasn't impressed with it and found the slow pace to get to the twist lacking. I don't mind a slow pace, but this felt like it slow and circling.
