Was this a cute quick read? Sure! Did it match all the hype? Meh! Debatable? There’s a quote on the cover from People Magazine that says “wise and hilarious” and honestly I agree with that! This book was funny and will leave your heart feeling full at the end. I just found myself kind of dragging my feet to finish it.

Maisie and Grant’s mother passed away and their father needs to go to rehab. Their Gup (Gay Uncle Pat) flies them to Palm Springs and becomes their caregiver for 90 days. They swim, bike, make videos, brunch, and celebrate Christmas in July and collectively try and heal. It’s a sweet sweet story!
