The Power of Pegasus is a strong start for debut author Milush Black and a refreshingly modern twist on the suspense thriller sub-genre. Dealing with the challenging topic of stalking under the modern lenses of social media and the pandemic, we see our MC Sophie drift through different homes, jobs, and residences in a desperate effort to escape the pursuit of Mo and his girlfriend. While some readers might appreciate more exposition, the prose manages to pace quickly and still deliver a tense reading experience that will resonate with anyone who has struggled in an abusive work environment.
