4.5 stars. The witty writing style and quick quips from the narrator helped balance the humor of the novel with the heaviness of the topics. I was impressed with how the author managed to include so many mini twists in a seemingly short story. Loved how the book checked the readers’ unconscious bias along the way, and even played off of it.
