Absolutely yes. YES! This book is everything a rom-com should be. I am so emotionally attached to these characters. I loved
how real they are, and especially that our main female character is not a traditional bubbly, self obsessed female trope. Also, that our main male characters are not all "bros" only here to save women.
This has a fake dating trope that is so genuine and heart felt. Diversity, and true friendship. I love how well the author includes consent, and normalization of a lack of gaslighting or toxic relationships tropes. It is so well done! The things about most rom coms that always bother me were bot even present in this book.
I devoured it. It is so interesting, and fun. this is all aside from the fact that it is apparently Star Wars fan fic?! Ugh, just yes!
